biography
arc 001. Rue came from an extremely small clan in the Shroud. Despite their size, they did their best making allies and friends with other clans; despite their nature, they were wiped out by Wailers. Only the youngest were spared, Rue and Lola among them. The pair were taken to Ishgard, where a woman took them in, hoping to shape them in her image.Around age sixteen, Lolette took Rue and fled, though she never explained why. The pair ended up in Ul'dah, where Lolette worked any job she could take, be it sweeping, serving drinks at taverns, or pickpocketing. Lola urged Rue to get back into their roots, sending her to the Shroud. There, Rue began training to become a Conjurer.
arc 002. How she managed to find herself working for a criminal organization is a mystery. She's the personal assistant of the leader of the Crimson Lotus, though she doesn't openly tell people that fact. She takes care of contracts, heals his people, and keeps his secrets. In turn, she is offered shelter and protection.Recently, she opened a small business called Odder Otter Cafe. It's not hard to guess where the loan came from. Despite its dubious origins, the cafe itself is a cozy spot that welcomes all. It offers a wide variety of foods, desserts, teas, and coffee. It even has to-go and delivery services.
